Info for Frank Reberger from the Baseball-Reference.com Bullpen
Frank Reberger was a tall (6' 5"), slender right-handed pitcher in the National League (Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants) in the 1970s. His nickname, "Crane", referred to his physical build. He was a hard thrower who was also pretty wild, and was used both in starting and (primarily) relief roles, with mixed results. He never really established himself, and in his five parts of seasons he had some nice stretches of solid pitching, but mostly not. Pitching for the Treasure Valley Cubs in 1966, Reberger tied for the Pioneer League lead in hit batsmen, with 15. This is also an all-time season record for the league.
